Many Apologies +paintings

I know I've been out of the habit for too long. My computer has basically died, so i lost a lot of ability to come on here easily, and my job doesn't let me have pens, pencils, crayons, or basically any utensil. I'm working 50 hour weeks and have next to no free time but im working on it.

I was able to get into painting and have found enough spare time to do a few for you here. So as apology, here are two completed paintings and the steps i went through for the third freshly finished today.

I know, the last one is fanart. I did it as a gift to someone and there will be a couple more dragon ball related because his brother wants some too. I do not claim to own the characters used for that painting.

I will try to post at least once a month until I'm able to get a hold of a better computer. Until then, i hope i still have someone out there watching.

Double feature

I am so sorry for missing so long. Life was a bitt insane. But on the bright side, I just discovered that a bunch of photos from My Yellowstone trip  were never transferred off my SD card so I have New-ish Pictures for you! The second one is Yellowstone, the first is a more recent sunset picture,I just really loved the contrast.

And I just barely made it in time for the end of the month of march. I will try to get better, but I'm about to be opening up a shop where I'm selling some homemade cream and peanut butter filled chocolates online.

Sorry, Life update

I'm so sorry!!! Life recently became really really  hectic. On top of work and school I'm now trying to help my mom move out of her abusive home,  I'm trying keep track of my brother who is a minor but got kicked out of my mom's house by the other person there so he's been hopping between two friend's houses. And so much more is happening in between  all of that. And It's just not at the forefront of  my mind to come back  here or find something to post, especially not when I don't really tend to get any responses or comments that tell me people are paying attention.

I promise to try to have something posted by the end of this month.

Flowers and Trees.

I've been yelling at myself for a while because I know I'm late. I did find something I really wish I could post, but I can't find the original form of it, only the form after it had been printed and put into a frame for my mother. I'm going to keep searching for it, but for now I have this.

I took it at the Sunken Garden. I don't really have new stuff lately because between school, work, and lack of spare money, I haven't been to go out to do much.

Peter Pan

This was originally an idea for a photo shoot, and quite possibly could still happen, but it's not too likely. I'm working on a fairy tale and other story series sort of thing... I just have to figure out how to draw the others. This one came to me while driving and I originally scribbled it on a receipt.

I might be able to do a red riding hood photo though because it's been my Halloween costume recently and the cloak I made for it would look really good on anyone.

Also, yes, I know I'm late... again. I've got a lot of school stuff to do.

Rain

Days can be hard,
And days can be long,

I know I'm late. I was having a major block and i promised myself I wouldn't post ANOTHER photograph this month. 

This poem was originally a song I  wanted to write years ago, but the furthest I ever got was one section that randomly would get stuck in my head. The part that is starred is that section. It was going to be the chorus. I have wanted to work on this more for years and finally did just that. I may eventually finish the song, but I don't know..

Bamboo

Back to old pictures. This is sunken Gardens again I loved the bamboo stalks.

I nearly forgot this month even started. I'm officially out of scheduled posts right now so I'm trying figure them out. I'll eventually get to posting more often. I even started working on certain stories that I'm going to get back to writing. Sadly, so far I'm not allowing myself to post it on here because I would like To write the book and publish it.

As for my recent project, I've been making flower/rose hair clips and pins. While I try to sell them, this sadly is not my area of good picture taking or advertising, at least for the one's I have up. Once I get the phone working for me, I can post the pictures I've taken of the 'custom' ones I've made for friends and family around me.

Mountains

So, living in Florida, I don't get to see things such as mountains often. The closest I got before this trip was a random cloud formation I saw once walking home. This picture was taken while the car was still moving because we couldn't find a place to stop but I needed the picture so bad. Maybe next month I'll put post the picture that I should've had someone holding me while I took.

Anyway, this is still Yellowstone. Haven't been able to get much from around me because of rain and lack of places I haven't already been so nothing looks too big or special to me now... I'm trying to get some poems written, but I need to try to save some for a project I plan for the future.

Will post what artsy thing I've been working on lately soon though, the pictures are all on my phone.

Clear as glass

This is one of my favorite pictures from Yellowstone. Right next to the lake and you could see the mountains in the distance with the clouds looking just about perfect. I nearly forgot to even set this up for this month.

I plan to start doing artist reviews/spotlights. I have a handful of webcomics I like to read  as well as various other artists that I found in other ways That I'd love to talk about on here. I just need to find the time to do that.

New pictures up

I'm home from vacation and I was able to get up a good portion of the pictures i took. But I have many more that I have to sort through and can get posted on here.

Yellowstone was amazing. There were bison everywhere and feeling completely surrounded in nature is something I loved. There were a few areas I was able to get right up next to the water and watch the rapids. I even got to see a mama black bear protecting her cubs and another black bear crossing the street to go swimming on the other side.

Yellowstone

There will be new photos up soon on my photography site. They are not up just yet as I'm still on vacation, but I wanted to post a little sneak peak here before the end of my trip.

Sun and Moon

I drew this for me and my boyfriend. There is a poem to this in the works. I'm just not done writing it. I wanted to show this though. He calls me the light in his life. I'm the sun to his moon. We are opposites in so many ways, but we do figure it out.

ME

The shy girl in the corner,
the one that hardly says a word.
That one that hides behind her hair,
when it comes to be her turn.

That's who they think I am,
because that's the facade that I show.
But there's another side to me,
that they may never know.

I'm not always quiet,
sometimes I don't shut up.
I'm fairly optimistic,
so I see a half full cup.

I like to run and play,
just like a little girl.
I have an imagination,
larger than this world.

I care about nature,
and hold those I love deep in my heart.
In songs I sing loud,
at my favorite part.

Yes, I like corners,
they make me feel safe.
But that doesn't mean,
I don't have a smile on my face.

My friends are all crazy,
but I don't think that's bad.
They make my life fun,
and me a little "Mad".

And never judge by size,
because I know I'm not alone.
Though I may not be very big,
my heart's not fully grown.

So I may seem quiet,
but you can see that's not the case.
Even my short stories are long winded,
I need to set a better pace.

I may seem smart,
but even my grades start to fall.
Sometimes I appear to understand everything,
when I understand nothing at all.

I'm such a big writer,
I hear my characters in my head.
And when I cant sleep,
I make new scenes before bed.

Looks can be decieving,
add my name to the list.
I'm not who you think I am.
And, well, you get the gist.

Another poem for a scholarship. This one I did submit. I also recorded myself saying it.

Next month I have trip.. I should be able to get a few more pictures to be able to post. So might be able to chill out with the writing.

why I write

I don't write to be heard,
I write to express.
I certainly don't write,
so I can be best.

It's what I like to do,
from the things that I see.
I really don't use it,
to be some queen bee.

I show some,
to those I care about, though.
to get some opinions,
and be in the know.

I don't write for others,
I write for myself.
My notebooks could stay,
forever on a shelf.

My rhymes may not match,
as well as other would like.
But when I'm writing,
they fit just right.

There are many reasons to write,
I guess this is mine.
I write to let things out,
And I think I do just fine.

I found my old book that I used to carry with me everywhere. It had a few poems that I thought I could post here. I think I wrote this for a scholarship, but I don't remember if I submit it or not...

I'm running out of photos to post. I haven't been going out too much and I mainly only do well in nature photography, in fact, I've been scheduling these posts in advance for a few months now... I should have more photography in a couple months, but I don't know how much it'll last, I do still have work and school.

A Family

No blood is needed,
nor is any law.
When we all come together,
Always give our all.

We don't need any reason,
We don't need to be the same.
We are here for each other,
through each and every day.

With hearts wide open,
we watch many come and leave.
But that doesn't change the fact,
That they were part of our family.

I wrote this on 9/11/14. It was my first day working off of training. I was sitting down and waiting before I had to clock in and I just kept hearing everyone interacting with each other. This just came to mind. I thought I would share.

 

Near the beach I usually  go to is a seabird sanctuary. I like taking pictures of the birds there, but I don't like taking pictures of them in the cage. This unfortunately means that I'm not sure on the breed of this bird. This was taken over a year ago.

For a little while, the only pictures I could take were at the beach near sunset. There were a couple pelicans at the time.
Small, barely important information, my mother is scared of pelicans because of a bad experience when she was younger. When I got this picture, I was with my boyfriend, he had me take a picture of him running after it so she could see it.

autumn

This is a drawing I made in honor of autumn. There is going to be more to it, I'm currently trying to color it digitally. I will post the rest of it when I can, even if it's the middle of winter or another season.

Dragonfly

Surrounded in nature,
There's magic all about.

But with your eyes open,
It doesn't come out.

What will it take,
To be able to see?
For with your eyes closed,
You can start to believe.

Only then do you hear,
The fairies, pixies, and dragons in flight.

But when your lids split apart,
you see nothing but a simple Dragonfly.

I took this picture at a local park. Dragonflies were appearing around me a lot at the time. This one allowed me to get close and take this picture. I was told that if you see dragonflies about, then fairies were close by. That's the meaning for this poem. I am trying to post more things, it's just not the easiest for me. Between school and work, I half the time want to just sleep and the other half want to be with my friends.... I'm working on it though.
